Welcome to Oldfield Free Church — a warm, friendly, evangelical Baptist church in the heart of North Greenford, West London.

Who We Are
Oldfield Free Church (Baptist) was planted in North Greenford in 1936 by members of Greenford Baptist Church (Beechwood Avenue, Greenford). As North Greenford developed as a residential area north of the A40 Western Avenue, it became practical for believers living in this area to gather for worship closer to home. For approximately 90 years, we have maintained a faithful Baptist witness in this community.
We are affiliated with the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) and the London Baptist Association (LBA). Our ministers participate in the West London District Ministers Group, maintaining fellowship across Baptist churches in the area.

In 2026, having completed an intensive year focused on mission and evangelism in 2025, our focus is on deepening discipleship — growing in our understanding of God’s Word, strengthening our faith foundations, and equipping every believer for faithful Christian living.

90th Anniversary — July 2026
This year we celebrate 90 years of God’s faithfulness since our founding in 1936. Those believers from Greenford Baptist who walked north across the A40 to plant a church in North Greenford could not have known their faithfulness would bear fruit nine decades later. We give thanks to God for His sustaining grace and look forward to continued service in this community.
