Ministries
At Oldfield Free Church, we seek to serve people at every stage of life. Whether you’re a toddler, a teenager, a young professional, or retired, there’s a place for you.
Sunday Worship — 11 AM
Our main weekly gathering for worship, prayer, and Bible teaching. Children’s Church is available during the sermon for ages 4–16. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper together on the third Sunday of each month.
Sunday Evening — 6 PM (In the School Room)
A more intimate gathering with a focus on deeper Bible study, testimonies, and extended prayer time. This service often includes more congregational participation. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the First Sunday of the month.
First Sunday of March, May, July and September (in the Main Hall)
After the morning service we have a Fellowship lunch followed by communion.
Tuesday Bible Study — 7 PM (In the School Room)
Our midweek Bible study currently working through the book of Romans. A great opportunity for questions and discussion in a smaller group setting. All welcome — whether you’re new to the Bible or have been studying it for years.
Meeting Point — Wednesday, 11 AM (In School Room)
Coffee, crafts, and socialising. Meeting Point is our midweek gathering especially (but not only!) for older adults. It’s a relaxed, friendly time of fellowship and connection. If you’re looking for company and a warm welcome, this is the place.
Beehive Toddler Group — Friday, 9:30 AM (In the Main Hall)
A welcoming group for parents, grandparents, and carers with pre-school children. Come along for play, singing, and a chance to meet other families in the area. All welcome, regardless of church connection.
Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades — Friday, 6 PM (In the Main Hall)
Our long-established Brigades provide a Christian framework for children and young people to develop character, learn new skills, build friendships, and have fun. The Brigades have been a vital part of our church’s ministry in North Greenford for many years.
Pastoral Care
Led by our Assistant Minister, Rev. Rebekah Rego, our Pastoral Care Team provides support through hospital and home visits, bereavement care, prayer, and practical help. If you or someone you know is going through a difficult time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Foodbank
We support the local foodbank by collecting donations from our congregation. See our current food list for items most needed.
Zoom Prayer
We gather for prayer via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10am, supporting one another and lifting our community before God. Contact us for details of times and how to join.
